Default Hot off the sewing machine!

Just finished piecing GD's quilt that she requested while visiting this summer. First thing I have done in a long time and need to get it quilted for her Christmas present. She is 9 and requested black and white but I told her Gramma doesn't do black and white so be prepared for some added color. This is the final product. I had to hang it sideways to get the whole thing in. Ann in TN

That really looks great! The blue really sets it off.

DD requested a B&W quilt several years ago. I wasn't thrilled but did it anyway. It did look nice finished, but still not my favorite colors to work with.

The border feels like it is in motion. I'd love to see the top quilted. That looks like it could be fun to quilt.
