    Default Ott Light Bulbs

Wondering if an Ott bulb can be used in a standard lighting fixture, such as a desk arm lamp. Any experiences with that?

Yes they can I use one in my goose neck lamp. Make sure it is the screw in bulb and not a plug in type.

It depends upon the way that the bulb attaches to the lamp.

Some of the Ott lights and bulbs are proprietary - a lamp will take only an Ott brand bulb and an Ott brand bulb will fit only into an Ott lamp. Same with The Daylight Company lamps - I have one that they are no longer making bulbs for so when this one burns out, the lamp is gone, too.

Just make sure it has the correct fitting for your particular lamp and you should be fine.
