Smile Border Collie Fabric

I'm sure that several people on the forum were asking about Border Collie fabric a few months ago... but though I've searched I can't seem to find the thread, to post on it.

So I'll just mention it here, that Makower UK has finally reprinted the Border Collie fabric, and it came through our doors today... all 19 bolts of it!

We had some on order back in August, but sadly it was all lost when Andover's warehouse was flooded by Hurricane Irene.

So I guess this also tells us that Andover is really back up and running, and that the fabrics they had to re-order after the flood are starting to become available again.

Oh I want a yard. I had a Border collie, his name was Shadow we called him Shad for short. He passed on and I would love to make a memory quilt of him.

Does Makower UK also make Cavalier King Charles Spaniel fabric? I know Cavaliers are popular in the UK and I'd love to make Cavalier quilts for my daughters.

I believe that they have made a fabric that has Cavs on it, but there are other breeds also. They would have to be fussy cut, but there was enough room between dogs that it was possible to do so without amputating pieces of the other dogs. I know Pollyanna Pickering had pillow panels with blenheim pups on them, but they've been OOP for a while and are very difficult to find.

There is another company that makes a fabric with a Cav & other breeds also. Those Cave are much larger than the Makower, and the fabric is a bit heavier. I have some somewhere-I'll try and locate it and take a picture and see if I can locate the manufacturer.
