    Looking for the pattern to make D9P quilt. can anyone help me please!

    here are some VERY basic directions: make the 9-patch block any size you want. Press so it lays relatively flat. cut the vertical column in the center in 1/2 (measure the center square to be cut in half, not the whole block). Without moving the block, measure the horizontal row center square to be cut in half. Both cuts-horizontal & vertical-should go the entire length of the block. Arrange the new pieces any way you like. Remember that the outer 4 squares will never be cut-good place to put focus fabric and that the center block makes the smaller little squares. hope that helps some.

    Thank you mzzzquilts for posting the tute for the disppearing nine patch. I've been quilting since 1989, and had never heard of it until I go on this Board. Have been wondering and wondering what it is. So thanks for finally settling my curiosity. I think I will make it soon.
