This is just amazing - the love shows through, and all the efforts you made to personalize it says so much. The details are wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed this and thank you for sharing it!

Not a problem at all, we all get ideas from one another. The window sounds amazing, that would be beautiful. Yes, the cats and the atlas in the centre are printed on fabric. I like the mantel clock style too but don't have one.

Is it ok to more or less copy what you did? Your aunt's likes are mostly mine(no cats).
If I do this for me I would make the middle square a window with a picture of my gardens and maybe add a knitting motif and something "quilty". Were the cats, pictures you printed on fabric? I would do that with the garden picture for mine.
By the way, the clock on the shelf is the same style as my own grandfather's clock which I have.
Thanks for the inspiration.

OH my, you sure have been busy doing such a beautiful creative piece. What a surprise! Haven't been here very often now especially since coming south then they changed format. You did a super job. I should have given you some salvages because you sure put them to good use. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
