Cool Carol - new quilter

I am a new quilter just finished my frist quilt top and need to add batting & backing. When I took the classes this was the most fun that I had gotten out of any craft since retiring. I worked for 35 years as an Insurance Adjuster and was dedicated to the job and never really took time for myself. So now, I want to quilt and love it. Now to my questions: Can anyone give me some tips on how to store my ends or scraps? Also I am trying to find some place where I can get a few templates only they are all so expensive
I was going to use Baycreek Templates to have therm make mine, anyone used them before?? Would appreciate any input on these questions.
Thanks
Carol

Welcome to the QB. Waving from Texas. I have never heard of them but thank you for the info. I have to check them out. I buy templates or make my own. And of course, there is our wonderful Rhonda, a member here, who sends you hers free. She has great links to learn and follow and ebooks too. You'll have to check her out. You can click on her name and find her.
Hope you get some feedback. Just wanted to say Howdy.

welcome from Oklahoma! ON the storing of scraps, check out Bonnie Hunters site www.quiltville.com and for the templates, before you have someone make something "special" be sure to check and make sure there is not a copyright/patent on the one you want made!

Welcome from Northern Idaho. I know that everyone has their own way to store scraps. I have taken several see thru bins with plastic lids that stack on top of each other and I sort by colors. I don't usually keep any scraps that are less than 2 x 2 unless I have a special project in mind, but I do put them in a separate bin for a few months to see if I need them for anything before I part with them. I usually donate them to special causes. As for templates there are a lot places just do a google search and you should find alot of what you are looking for.

Welcome again!!!
