When I go to add my pics they fail. What am I doing wrong?Thank you

I remembered seeing posts about the size of pics, and although I couldn't find those particular posts, I used a program on my home computer called Microsoft Picture Editor (I think that's it) and used one of the predetermined sizes for "web"--the smaller one. They worked the first time I tried to post them!
