Default A non quilting app - great for quilting!

I was trying to plan a quilt from a panel with five sections. I was trying to choose placements of the sections and also choose the fabrics that would go best with the panel.

I downloaded a free photo collage app. I took pictures with my IPad of the sections of the panel and of the various fabric choices. After carefully cropping the panel sections, I loaded the pictures of the sections and a variety of the fabrics. I was able to maneuver the panels and the fabrics around with the photo collage app and choose the best layout and visualize what the quilt was going to look like with my iPad.

The app I used is "Turbo Collage" but there other free choices also. Let me know if you try this and how it worked for you!

I use print shop the same way. I've used word and excel, but I like print shop better. Sometimes, I do part of it in Word or excel then move portions over to print shop.
