Default Which background fabric would you use?

These are the batiks I am using for a BOM. I'm trying to decide which accent/background color to use. The solid will show up in each block and be the border. I making this just for fun with no plan for the finished quilt. So I just want it to be nice.

I think the yellow is too much. The creamy one really showcases the colors in the batiks, the yellow seems to sort of shout over them and drown them out.

I'm not partial to yellow, but I think it works really well with the batiks, so I vote for yellow.

I like the yellow/orange one, tacked between the red and blues. It may give you a wake up pop.

Yellow makes it lively and cheerful, tan makes it calm.

I do think the yellow might be too bright in a large quilt.

I agree with cheaha39, that one will make the others look really good. I also like the yellow, makes the other fabrics rich looking.
