I am a 1.50 or 1.75. I take my time to get it right. Sometimes I will throw a quilt together but points still must match. I won't give up quality for speed. I sew next to our bed so it's never a mess. My husband teases me about being a minus one because I won't use a block until it is right and it drives him crazy as I mumble and rip.

I guess I am a 2. A mistake or two or even 3 is fine, afterall, quilting is supposed to be fun and feel good. That is why it relieves stress. At least that is why I do it.

What does it make me if: Another quilter admires my perfect points and says " I could never do that". Whereupon I immediately show her the points aren't perfect close up and encourage her to try that new pattern after all.

A teacher, a mentor, a supporter, a nice person...a quilter!
