Thanks for all the nice comments. Now if I could only get myself talked into quilting it! I have the fabric for the back and I have the batting, just can't seem to get the motivation. Maybe tomorrow.

I really like the soft, warm feeling of your color choice. Great Take 5 finish. Thanks for sharing.

I, too love your colors--very cheery, warm and springlike. I think that may be one I can handle as a newbie (although would take me ALOT longer than 5 hours lol) I'm still unsure about choosing fabrics that go together as well; but may give it a shot. Thank you for sharing!!!!

Thanks again, everyone. I have now quilted it and am very happy with it. It is so cheerful looking!! I am going to make another just like it. This one will be for a cousin who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is only 33 and will be having a double mastectomy. I couldn't think of anything to say when I heard her news, but I offered to make her a quilt and sent her a few pictures of what I have made. I was looking for a pattern she liked and for some colors to use, and she asked if I could make her a quilt just like this one. Of course I can! (I would send her this one, but I want hers to be fancier. My sister has agreed to finish it on her long arm, and mine is just SID.)

Again, thanks for your kind words.
