This quilt is a 'SWEET TWEET". Try saying that 3 times fast.
All kidding aside-it is delightful.

It is so cute and adorable and panels are not cheating. You are still quilting them & binding them. I have one that was a panel and I took it apart sewed it back together in my own way and hand quilted it. No one knows this except for the others who I ordered the same fabric for at the same time. I got mine done & hanging in my family room, they did not even do anything with there's yet and it has been several years.

Thanks for the reassurance. I have a few panels in my collection that I have done nothing with. I should probably work on those. I have 3 dinosaur panels I got from a craigslist find. They are already sandwiched just waiting to be quilted and bound. I thought I would do those and donate them to linus. My mother in law and I bought a flynn frame at the Lancaster show and I'd really like to get that set up before I do anymore quilting. Does any one have a flynn? Do you like it? Any tips ?

So cute and fun. I remember reading in a quilt mag. at one time a discussion about pro and con for hand stitching patches vs. machine piecing. The comment that stuck with me was that if the colonial and pioneer women had sewing machines available to them they would have used them. So I think when creating a quilt feel free to use anything available to create the item you want.

I like using them as donation quilts. They go fast and are greatly appreciated.
