Got the insane idea last week to start the Dear Jane quilt. Was at Fabric Depot last week for stuff for my DC (cousin's quilt) & she had sent a gift card to the store for it + a generous "tip" for me. Was talking to the saleslady there about Civil War fabrics, etc. and she showed me the Jo Morton line by Andover. I drooled all over myself, but thought "I can't really afford that."
Then, lo & behold, when I checked my FD mailer for April I saw that those very fabrics and all the vintage ones were to be 30% off today and tomorrow!!
(I had a horrible dream last night that Fabric Depot had become a 3-story building that now had clothing and everything and I could not find the fabric anywhere! I searched for hours and finally came to an area that said "fabric" but there was nothing but rows of empty tables!! I saw a young salesMAN who was very rude and said I did not get here early enough! I replied that it was just 5 min after opening. (hours wandering? It WAS a dream, remember?) He just replied that you gotta be quick.)
So I was going to head down there (20 miles) as soon as I got up. Oh, no! DD wants to go grocery shopping!! (She pays so we'll go now, right?) So I left at 11:34am and was home by 1:01 pm. with (8) 1/4yds of the Jo Morton fabric, 5 yds of Kona natural muslin (118" wide) and still have $7.00 on my gift card!!

Thanks for listening!
