Default Felling foot question

What are you doing if you are using a "Felling foot"? I saw one at Sew-Classic and have no idea what the silly looking thing does.

You're sewing a "double stitched seam" like what's on your blue jeans. It's a "flat felled seam".

I think you sew the seam edges facing to the outside and trim one piece of seam off and turn the other one down and sew it down like Cowl says like your jeans. I may be wrong.

I misspoke in my previous thread. I meant Charlee instead of Cowl. Sorry!

Well, my wife taught me how to do it without a special foot. When I told her what it was she said: "OK, ..... duh ...."
Might just buy one.
