DUH!!!! I'm sorry, I just don't get Pinterest . What the heck are pins and repins.... and, are these just pictures or are they actually free patterns that you can download?

Unless you are ready for yet another addiction - stay away from pinterest. It is actually just about like using the "favorites" function on your internet toolbar. You can "pin" sites, items etc that you find on the internet and put them into catagories (called "boards") on pinterest. The major difference for me is that when you pin something you pin (most of the time), an actual picture of the item, craft, etc. I make kids clothes for an Etsy shop, and have found literally dozens of free, non copywritten patterns that I can use. I pin them to my "board", and have an easy to access, pictoral record of the items I have saved. I LOVE pinterest!!!

If you click on one of the major board pictures, you will get all the items on that particular board. Most of the items list a name at the bottom where it came from, and you can go to that name and get instructions, or more information, etc. It can become addictive, as davis2se said, but I usually just go to it when my e-mail tells me someone has begun following my boards, or someone has repined to their board one of my pins. You can put things like recipes, quilting ideas, home ideas, etc., actually anything you really want to a board on your pinterest. Hope this explains it more.
