When my oldest GD was little she always called me Nama. She loved to spend time with me in my sewing room and would sing this little song over and over...sew nama, sew nama, sew nama as I ran the sewing machine. So...that's how I became SewNama.

My cat's name is Blue, so I became Blue's Quilting Mama

I am an avid collector of pigs and anything pig related! 15 years ago, one of my closest friends had a little girl and I lavished her with piggy things so I became Aunt Piggy. I was a nurse for 18 years so that is where the LPN part comes from

JENNR8R is the only nickname I have ever had. It was given to me by my best friend because she said I get things done. After she died, I put it on my license plate in her honor.

I chose "sewingforsanity" because we moved 2 years ago very far away from all of our friends and families...so I sew to keep my sanity. General sewing was a hobby I had gotten away from years ago, and I am glad that I started quilting this January. It keeps me busy!
