Default Newest Addition Elna Lotus

I found her yesterday at the thrift store, she needs a power/foot cord to run, but she was so cute I couldn't leave her. She is 12" high x 12" wide and 5" deep. I am looking for her cord if any of you know of one included a picture of where it goes and prong configuration. Excited to find a cord to hear her run. Such an interesting design and with a dial up buttonhole!

The Elna Lotus came out when Singer came out with the 3/4 head. I too have one bought about 20 years ago for $250. Seemed quite high. The Elna distributor for the USA was a good friend of mine and he said was not many made and they were collectors items. I wonder what the value of them are now. Mine has everything, book, cord, and feet which fit in top of machine. Had it recon a few years ago to take to guild and then purchased a Janome so there it sits. I am not much for collecting machines altho I do have a Bernina 830 bought in early 60's with every foot available at that time and a 1911 White treadle in a beautiful cabinet. Have a few others I bought cheap to resell and then closed my store. Frankly I would rather have the money if any interest.

Sweet! Elna has just re-issued the Lotus in an updated version. You are very fortunate! A power cord shouldn't be that hard to come by. Check the usual places, Ebay, craigslist, sewingpartsonline, Ray White.

Thats a real good looking machine. Glad you are going to get the parts you need for her and put her back in action!
