County Fair Entries
Every year I participate in our county fair and this year entered 5 quilts - proud to say all earned 1st place blue ribbon. At age 65, have always longed for a Best of Show and this year I got 3! I am thrilled.
One in quilts overall, 1 in special theme (favorite nursery rhyme) and one in Christmas. Just shows that you should never give up and keep learning and hopefully improving and you'll get there!
Happy quilting all.

Congratulations on your well-earned prizes! Which County Fair did you enter your quilts in?
Today I just went to my county fair (Erie county, NY) and there were a lot of beautiful quilts.
And while there were few entries in garment sewing, one certainly caught my eye. It was a christening gown, made from the train of a bridal gown. (The entry was accompanied by a picture of the bridal gown.)
