Your quilt is beautiful! I love the pattern of the quilt (stars) and all the gorgeous fabrics. Now, I'm going to sound really dumb, especially since there are pictures involved, but what is McTavishing? I saw the quilting and I don't machine quilt, but it looked like you outlined your stars and then did curved stitching in between the stars. Is the stitching between the stars the McTavishing????? I have heard people talk about this, but have never asked before what it meant. So, please, someone tell me. Thank you.

I don't know what McTavishing is but..............girl if you think that this is bad...........I can't wait to see what you think is good. I love this. It looks great to me. I guess it's good that I don't know what McTavishing is because I feel that you did a super job on this. If you can't stand it I would be more than happy to send you my address. That poor unhappy quilt would find a place of honor in my little abode. BrendaK

I think the quilt looks wonderful!! I wish I could do something as special as that on my quilts. I've been getting a little bolder as I go, but nowhere near as gorgeous as yours!! Love everything about that quilt!! It's awesome!!
