Does anyone know the name of this plant my daughter found growing in her alley?

The leaves and flowers look like morning glories ... just an unusual color. I've never seen the white ones. Is angel trumpets in the same family?

It would help to know the size of the flowers... angel trumpets are much larger than morning glories. I suspect they're the latter.

It looks like bindweed, a wild member of the morning glory family.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convolvulaceae

we have it here as well.

If it grows viney, it's a morning glory.

Yup!! I was going to ask if it had spiney seed pods because it looks the most like Datura to me. Some people call Datura "Moon Flower". They come in white and a beautiful dark purple.

If it's Datura, you can collect the spikey seed pods once dried and sow them where ever you want. They usually germinate pretty easy and you'll have more next year.
