Default First Time in 35 Years Using Clothing pattern

The only sewing I ever did before starting quilting about three years ago was a skirt I made in high school (this sorta tells my age..oh my!) Anyway my daughter has a home Bakery business. She loves vintage things, she found a vintage apron patten & ask me some time ago to make it. So I have..I will give it to her for Christmas. I think it came out ok. What do you all think?

That's very nice and truly looks vintage. Bet daughter will love it.

Why did they make us sew clothing in home ec years ago? We had to WEAR what we made for the last day of school! Horrors - so ugly even though my mother helped a lot!

Oh yeah. I forgot about us all being made to wear that skirt to school one day in Junior High. Although my sewing was fine, the fit was awful!!!! So embarrassing.........

Your apron is very vintage looking and it turned out great! Your daughter is going to love it.

I remember ironing starched aprons similar to that - back in the 1950s
