Smile BOM that took me 5 years

Well I dont know why i ordered this block of the month quilt. I had never done hand embroidery before and was a little taken back when I recieved my first block. I thought I would never be able to do this, but finally got this finished ready to sandwich and quilt. Two of the blocks I recieved I didn't like much so I added my own and really like the outcome.
For a quilt that was to take 12 months, I guess 5 years isn't bad.

Very pretty. Reminds me of Victorian valentine cards. I bet you are really good at hand embroidery now!
