    Smile Finally Done!

This is a quilt that I have been working on for quite some time for a very special niece. The pattern is Miss Rosies Quilt Co, "Raise the Roof". I had to add length to the quilt, so I added the section on top that is covering the pillows, as my niece has a specially long bed (her hubby is very tall) I quilted this in sections, mostly STD, but did some fancy work on the lighter logs, the center, and the section on the pillows. Also, this is a Queen size quilt laying on my King-sized bed!

I messed up on some points on my stars, but prefer to be so grateful for the many that I got right this time! Each quilt get's better and better. My niece is coming to visit me this weekend and this will be such a nice surprise for her. She knew she had one coming, but didn't know what or when. She's been waiting over a year, so that's long enough!

    Thanks for looking.

I think that's lovely. Your niece will be thrilled. Love the wavy lines in the logs! Just the right touch.

Beautiful! I love the patterned striped edge along the bottom--looks well-planned out.
