Default Spring Skinnie and sewing machine cover

Finished up these items and trying out my Brother PE 770 embroidery machine. First one is a sewing machine cover that I made for my mom for Mother's Day (Cover Up - Sewing Machine Cover Pattern by Empty Bobbin Sewing Studio) and the flower pot one is a table topper or wall-hanging called "Spring Skinnie" (Quiltmaker Mar/April 2013 magazine). Made that from all scraps which was a first! I think that means I actually have a 'stash' that I can pull from!

PS: actually saw a blade of GREEN grass today!! Spring is finally here--Woot!

How cute! I would love to have a machine cover like that. The wall hanging is so perfect for spring. Nice work on both sandra.

I think you did a great job on both of them, I love the Spring Skinnie the best, because the colors just pop, and it is toooo cute. I know your mother will love her mother's day present, and get a lot of use out of it. I love that we make useful gifts for friends, and family. Thank you for sharing with us.
