I only have 12 more stars to do!! 8 of one type and 4 of another. The corner flag blocks in the picture will be out another row in the finished quilt. I need to applique 6 flowers on the center and a bunch of little berry circles and 3 more of the stars on the flags. I'll get the pieces all ready and take it to work with me this week.

MAYBE it will be ready to put together next weekend.

That is awesome!!!!! I really really like that!! Is this something you came up with in EQ or is there a pattern? Is the fabric from the Coverlet collection? Did I say I really like this? Cause I really like this!

Thank you. :-) I created the design in EQ6 and yes, the fabric is the Coverlet II collection. It was a fortunate accident that the large circular patterned fabric fit perfectly in the 6" centers of the stars and the 6" corner blocks of the center medalion. I have the red and white fabric with the houses, fence, and birds on it for the borders.

It might also be that I knew the actual fabric and how many circular elements were in the patterns. I think that makes a difference in tying in the non-linear vase and flowers, especially with the large circle/flowers in the blocks around it.

In any case... you're lucky that many flowers are edible!!!
