I guess goofing up makes for learning. I don't think I follow book instructions well. I'll file this under "If at first you don't succeed...," or "It's ok to laugh...I did." : ) It's so crooked! Can I cut the edges off
to straighten it and just hand sew it back shut? I liked it better before I tried turning it into a potholder.

It's an offset log cabin, isn't it? Looks fine to me.

Silly me, but I don't see anything wrong with it. And even if it is crooked, it's very pretty and has a charm to it. If it were mine, I'd keep it the way it is. I really like it.

Absolutely wonderful improvisational potholder! I love it. And I bet you had fun making it! You'll have even more fun using it!

Hmm....after careful scrutinizing, I have come up with this idea.
Send it to me! I see nothing wrong with it!

Looks fine to me, but YOU have to be satisfied with it.

Hey Quilter (There isn't any wannabe in your work).

Put away your micromillimeter ruler. I think your potholder looks great, and even though I looked, it seems fine to me!!! But if it is going to bug you, yes, you can even it up and resew it. But I think it's a waste of time, it's great as it is!
