Well designed on your part for the fabric choices, colours, and pattern design.
You truly did deserve your ribbon!
Actually, I can't take the credit for the design or the fabric choices as a member of the board had made a wall hanging from the same line and it was so pretty and the colors matched my colors so well that I borrowed her design. I don't think she used the borders on the panel so the lap throw using the panel borders was my design.

The quilt is beautiful. I don't know why you would think it wasn't show worthy! Next time that blue ribbon will be yours!!!

Your quilt is very beautiful. What size is this? Out of all that is pictured here, yours is my favorite. Pat yourself on the back. congratulations on the ribbon.

Very nice quilt. Congrats on the ribbon! Until last year I hadn't attended a county or state fair in over 20 years. I have to say I was sooooo disappointed that they only show a "sliver" of each quilt! I see the same is true with your fair. How on earth can the viewer truly appreciate the full beauty of the quilt like that? Yours is a perfect example...it is gorgeous when you see it fully. I get that space is an issue, but I would rather see fewer quilts. It ruined it for me and what I thought was gonna take me at least an hour to see and enjoy took me about 10 minutes because I just left after seeing how they were displayed. Does anyone know if ALL fairs do it this way now?
