My wife and I went crawling through the local flea market this morning and I found this quilt which I felt like I needed to have. :) It's in very good condition with only some minor staining here and there. It's all hand quilted, and beautifully so. Price marked was $40, which I thought was a bargain. :D

They're pieced. Here's a closer detail of the piecing:

What a find!! Good for you! It's very pretty and I just love quilts that are handquilted, something I couldn't do.

What a great find! I like the way she did the colors. Do you collect quilts? I have found that I don't want to buy them now that I have learned to make them. But a bargain like that would not be easy to pass up!

$40.00!!!! Wow! You made out like a bandit. What a terrific find. I bet you drove home with a smile on your face.

Does it have a label on it? Were they able to give you any history on it?
