Default Scrappy Double 9 patch top

Scrappy using creams and whites and for the shading, more of a tan.

In this case, I'm really glad I took the time to post this one here (and on my FB page), because I spotted two mistakes in the piece placement.

Anyway, they are 1.5" squares--each individual 9 patch is 3.5" so the larger "double 9 patch" is 9.5" inches. I really like it.

I'll go fix the mistakes. The squares as so small that with the smaller picture you may not see the problem areas, but when my picture was 4000x3000 pixels, I could see them! So, off to fix them! So thankful I saw the mistakes now when it is only a "flimsy" and not a finished quilt.

How pretty! And I've looked and looked, but can't see the placing mistake!

There is no obvious mistake to me either. I really like the way you did this one.

I am not even going to look for a mistake. That is beautiful and will be so great quilted up. Glad you found it now. I can relate! Ask me how I know.

I love this quilt top! Just perfect use of scraps! I think this one goes on "The List". Thanks so much for sharing.

I have been cutting scraps into 2 inch squares. I love your quilt and I think I am inspired to make my quilt like yours. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Love your quilt! I've also stared at it for a while and can't see anything wrong.
