Two weeks plus and counting
and boxes they've went
To good girls and boys
of a strong quilting bent

Excitement keeps mounting
Deliveries made
Temptation abounding
Will all make the grade??

No touchy, no tasty,
no peely, no pokes
Terri said "do not open"
and that is no joke!

Oh there are some bad ones
with mischief their role
Watch out for their tempting
out there in the Hole.

Reward it will come
if you're good and you wait
Our Christmas day cometh
December the eight.

XOXO all you Secret Santas out there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a cute poem to wake up to! Thank you PenniF! I'm sure glad for a busy week this week, as there will be no time to pay much attention to this durn box! It's just sitting here staring at me, daring to open it! Resist I must do! Oh the wait!!

Today's clue: You do like to put critters on in your quilts.

a SEALED box with MY name on it that I didn't want her coming to my home
anymore.

Later I get a call from my brother wanting to know what my major malfuction
was with Carrie. When I told him what happened to my SS box he was not a
happy person with his wife.

She used to not be like that. Don't know what her problem is but I may not
forgive her for a long time.

I DO want to let my SS know that I did not look in the box, but handed it to
hubs and asked him to tape it back up and HIDE it for me. Since it is obvious
that it is not same on my desk.
Wow! That is pretty unbelievable. What other stuff would she go through of yours when the guys weren't around to watch her? The drawers of your dresser? Your medicine cabinet? Would it progress to pilfering? Has anything gone missing in your home such as earrings, small decorative items, small amounts of money you swore was sitting on the counter a few days ago? You were totally in the right for confronting her and what you told her. A person that would open a sealed box addressed to me in my home would not be welcomed back. I am completely dumbfounded by her actions and so sorry you experienced such an inprecidented invasion of your privacy.

Thank you all for the cyber hugs. Makes me feel better knowing
that I am not alone in my reaction.

Only thing I need to keep hidden for sure from her in my 40th
birthday bottle of 151 rum. She is a pretty regular drinker.

I am just glad she doesn't come to my home very often. Mainly
because she lives 20 miles north of us, and second I only have a
dining table to sit at (literally!).

When our sofa and loveseat fell apart we tossed them and never
replaced. We moved our computers to the living room with the table
and I took over the dining room as my sewing room.

Quilty-Louise -- I'd be very tempted to give her a Christmas present - all nicely wrapped. Then when she opens the box....EMPTY!!!! Serves her right!!

quilty-louise...your story just makes me sad.... you have to wonder what's missing in someone's life that would compel them to do something like that....and on top of it have the result of creating turmoil in the family....so sad.
