Default MN Pfaff Hobby Grand Quilter

I would love to connect with others who own this machine and the original Inspira Frame setup. I purchased mine in 2005, and am only now beginning to use it. Adding zippers purchased from longarmconnections.com has been a real time-saver. FYI.

    Welcome from Colorado!
I have that machine and frame. It's about as old as yours too, but I use it a lot.
    Thinking about upgrading soon tho.

Welcome to the board from Ontario, Canada. I also own a Pfaff Grand quilter on the Inspira frame. I have had mine since 2010 and have done lots of quilts with simple meandering. I added a QBOT to my system this spring and have done a few quilts since the upgrade but didn't do much through the summer. I am not yet completely sure that the Qbot is going to be worth my investment unless I start to use it more. Probably the Quilters Cruise Control would have been a better investment for me, but hopefully I will figure it out this fall/winter.

I have this machine and really like it. Only quilter I've had and have gotten good service from it. I mostly do meandering on mine as I have a neck and shoulder injury that prohibits me from staying in one place very long at the time.

I bought mine used, about 6 months old and it is a hard worker. About once a year I have it serviced and try to clean it after each quilt I make. I also have the cruise control and really like it. Another thing I bought myself was the red snappers that one piece slides in the sleeve on the header, lay your backing on top with just a bit over the bump of the red snappers, then snap the top piece on. Then add backing and top, catching the edge with the red snaps. So much easier, got them for $54 and I love them. Comes with instructions on how to use.

Hope you have good luck with your quilter and that you enjoy it as much as I do mine.
