Default New Curved Piecing Technique "Butterfly"

We were fortunate to have teacher Ruth Kennedy of Canada, come to the Bermuda Quilters' Guild in January this year.
Very exciting to learn this new easier way to do curved piecing! I've used the technique over and over since then!

Thank you so much! I took only scraps to the class. Last yearI met a lady at the Toronto Creative Festival l, and she had given me this absolutely gorgeous satin! First time using that in a quilt. For the border I used up even more scraps. It's been through the wash and came out the other end beautifully!

Lovely quilt. What makes Ruth Kennedy's technique different from others?
