Default "Entomology 101" - My First Bug Jar Quilt

Attached is a picture of my first bug jar quilt. It is another QAYG project. I apologize that the pictures looks a little washed out. It was great fun collecting the fabrics and putting the quilt together. I know that bug jar quilts were the rage several years ago, but I finally decided to make one this summer. Next summer it will be donated to the Bible Camp quilt auction fundraiser in my home community of ND.

Nice work! You mentioned it was QAYG - did you quilt each jar differently?

Each jar block was machine quilted the same - very simply. Then the quilted blocks were attached. Where you see the red sashing is the attachment.
