Any help out there for a Dressmaker?
So I have been searching for a vintage zigzag sewing machine. I picked up off a yard sale line a nice clean little Dressmaker. I just don't know anything about it and my internet searches haven't helped. It only come with a presser foot for straight stitch. I sent a friend to the local sewing machine shop to find a presser foot and the one she brought back didn't work. the needdle was hitting the foot. It seems to have a high shank presser foot. The little metal plate on the side says Super De Luxe zig zag precision built. made in Taiwan. on the back side it has a sticker that says made in Japan? Just don't want to keep buying feet that don't work so hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

SewNewGirl,
Your machine does have High Shank feet. It also probably parks to the left on straight stitch. A correct HS ZZ foot should work on it. However you will need a left homing SS foot if your going to use SS.
Sew-Classic has some of these feet: { www.shop.sew-classic.com }
A focused picture of the two feet and needle plate would help a lot.
