Default Accuquilt Go new dies

I was a few hours late ordering when they first came available and the ones I have been waiting for were all sold out! They went like hotcakes. I wanted the Hunter Star, large Clamshell, and Snowball. Anyone get one of these or any of the new ones?

Bella, check www.sewforless.com. They advertised them yesterday or the day before with free shipping, too.

Has anyone ever pieced that clamshell? Is it a toughy? Am tempted.

I just bought one of the new dies. It is the Angel. So pretty. Haven't seen the Hunter Star/Clamshell yet will have to check these 2 out.

I was just on http://www.sewforless.com/search.php...ds=StashBuster and it looks like they're available? I didn't get an Out Of Stock at checkout.

The Sewforless is good price wise - no shipping and handling is a good deal. They are the same price as Accuquilt, unless you want the points that the Accuquilt website gives you. I have not sewn the clamshell - I saw a "Simply Quilt" show where one person used a template that she used to turn the curve. She did it also with pedals of the dresden plate. She sewed the edges (much like she was making a yo-yo) then put the template on the underneath side, pulled the string to gather the fabric and make it cover over the template, at which time she ironed it. Can't remember if she starched it or not, but it certainly gave a smooth turn. (Hope that makes sense.) There is also a video on You Tube by Accuquilt on how to sew them together. It doesn't look difficult, but again I have not tried it yet.

Accuquilt has changed their rules. No seller can discount dies. They have to be sold at Accuquilt price. If there is a die on discount now from a dealer it's the time to buy.
