Does anybody know if there is a "chicken wing" fabric out there?

Uh... or would I be the only one who'd be interested in it?

(Chicken wings are a great junk food favorite in my area.)

That may be one you might have to print out yourself on fabric...but with all of the novelty fabrics coming out each season, someone may come across some

    see what you did!

I went on looking during my lunch break and came up with no fabric, but a very interesting looking tie. If you put your cursor right on top of it, you see the detail of a wing platter.

Take a look at the price of that baby!!

How about stamping fabric with a feather stamp. They're a lot of feather stamps out there and if you have a friend who stamps that is even better.

Oops, sorry Maride (Maria), didn't mean to start a flap over the chicken wing fabric  I just really get a kick out of "food fabric".

Anyway... yes, that was QUITE SOME PRICE on the tie!

Can this be done? How would you do this? I'm extremely interested!

Would this be done from a computer printer? I guess I have heard of printable fabric.

Would special software be required, or do you just make a .bmp or .gif or .jpeg file with your fabric pattern and then print?

Does this limit the fabric to paper size? No way to print it out by the yard?

Would it be copyright infringement if I scanned in a print and the printed it on fabric? I guess so, but what if the fabric is over 25 years old and was a one-time "exclusive" print for a chain store that no longer exists? (It's peonies, not chicken wings, though.) Or what if it's quilting fabric in prints no longer being made?

NY Nancy, you could scan in ads for chicken wings and make a pattern for yourself...
