Default "Nesteldecken" or "twiddle blankets"

Patients suffering from dementia are always very restless and they are looking for something to twiddle with or as we say: they want to "nestel"! And that's the reason for sewing these blankets: there are many things sewed on where these patients can "twiddle" or pluck with: ribbons, lace, buttons, zippers and many other things!!
Here are some blankets I sewed

Oh my gosh, are those wonderful. I volunteer at a nursing home and can see these being such a blessing.
