Default Good Movie: About Time

I went with a couple of friends last night. It started off a little slow (just a little) but was very good. Almost worth the $12. Can you believe the cost of movies? We went for a cheap dinner afterwards!

I'm lucky to live in a small town with a great theater. Our movies are $6 and that includes a small popcorn and small soda. They do lots of fun things at the theater, too. Midnight premiers of the new shows which all the teenagers love. The employees go around town on certain days dressed as characters from upcoming new movie. Clues are put on Facebook about where they will be next and if you can find them you get free tickets.

I loved this movie, saw it back in August in the UK. Here, we pay around £15 (about $20 US?) a month and you can go to the movies as many times as you like during that month. Depending upon timing. we sometimes see two on the same night so it's not too bad a cost.

I only go to the theater when the movie is the kind that you really need to see on the big screen. Otherwise I wait till it comes out on TV.
The Hunger Games was filmed like the Blair Witch Project where the camera jumps around. It was so bad I could not watch it. At least the followup is not filmed like that so will go see it.

Yep it's called About Time. I've seen some previews. Looks good but I hardly get to a movie theater these days. and then have to listen to the announcement that I should know where the exits are......

We have a movie theatre here in Salem that is cheap ($3), sells great snacks & easy food for dinner, and serves you on tables in front of your seats. They have special seatings where you can get beer & wine, and seatings for college game viewing. Great place! Am thinking about going to one of the regular theatres locally to see the newest Hunger Games film, though...
