Last show I saw was Liz was a guest on the show. I cut my own hair so I'm not saying anything. but was a hairdresser from 71-06. Gray and short but works for me. Not sure I saw the quilt mentioned but will look again.

Was a hairdresser for many yrs so I am also looking at other women's hairstyles......just a habit.......Liz has always worn her hair short as had Marianne, but hers was not as short and she had more curl to her do......in this new series ( 2300) it is shoulder length with a headband........just not her best look, IMHO.....

The quilt they worked on was Marianne's version of on antique that apparently she admired.

This is no lie:

I turned on Fons and Porter, and the opening of the show was about this. Then I turned my head to read on the computer, whatever message I openedd to read next - and this was it!!!!

Some of thee comments are very interesting and reflect a lot of 'attitude'. I think I have grown beyond most of the things I see demonstrated on their show. I still subscribe to the magazine and look forward to each issue. But I think the quilting world should thank Fons and Porter for their contribution to the quilting world. They moved the love of sewing and quilting in a positive direction that everyone can use. Some of the other well noted teachers are more specialized in their direction. Fons and Porter have been very inclusive in their approach. I'm pleased to see them include more modern approaches to quilts. It's fun to try new things. I would call my self more traditional but I can embrace new ideas. Quilting has become big business rather than just a niche hobby and to survive there must be new players in the game.

The quilt is O.K. not crazy about it. Hair, I have very fine can't do a thing with it. Let it do what it wants. Mary's looks like that to . I thought they had someone on the show to fix there hair. Oh well...
