Default New and Improved work station

I have not been on the board for a while because I'm working on a project that is demanding all my time! I am just learning to do some paper piecing and came up with an idea for a pressing/cutting station. This is an old computer desk. Just in case I ever need the desk again, I made the ironing surface from a 2'X4' piece of plywood and attached it with 2 screw brackets. This made the ironing surface a really good size. Then I put a cutting mat on the keyboard drawer and viola! I may never have to get up from my chair again!

What a great idea -- and space saver too! Bet the local Goodwill / Salvation Army stores will have a sudden run on old computer desks for use by quilters!
