Default Kaffe Fassett/Fons

I did a quilt for my son this year and the pattern called for string scrap fabric but I didn't have enough time so
Kaffe Fassett had this wonderful fabric. His couch is light grey so I think it will be a great combo. The pattern is "Rock Island Campfire" and it is in the August "Love of Quilting" Fons and Porter magazine. It all worked out great.

Love the quilt!
Had to laugh. I read your post too quickly "...Kaffe Fassett had this wonderful fabric. His couch is light grey..." and could not figure out how you knew the color of Kaffe's couch . Read it again and it made perfect sense. Didn't finish my coffee this morning.

I had the same problem. But your quilt is very lovely and I am sure he will treasure it for a long time! It will go lovely with his sofa....
