Default feather's on a kaleidoscope

Well I am finally putting the border's on a kaleidoscope and thinking about the FMQ ing I am going to do. I would like to put feathers in each kaleidoscope hexagon shape. Does anyone have a nice motiff of a feather to use as a guide. The four triangles on each that enable the kaleidoscope to become a square I may put a flower and not sure about the border's. One of the difficulties I have in choosing a design is looking outside of the box and letting the design flow nicely. So any pic's you have will be welcome.

No clue unless can see quilt. There are kaleidoscopes and then kaleidoscopes. Large ones and small ones. Single large blocks and smaller ones. So.....if I can see the quilt I might be able to give you some suggestions. I have designed many stencils for various companies. Perhaps one or two will work.

Are you sure they're not octagons? Putting 4 corners on a hexagon doesn't make it a square.
