Default crock pot supper

I use a 3 quart crock pot and this makes enough for two meals for two of us. In the bottom, dump in 1 1 pound bag of baby carrots, on top of that add 4 or 5 B size red potatoes cut in half. On top of the potatoes add a 1.5 pound pork roast cut into 1 1/2 inch thick slices. Cut up one small head of cabbage and add it on top of the pork. Dump two little tubs of Knorr homestyle stock on top of the cabbage. I cook it on high for about 5 hours. Yummy.

I am pretty sure you could use vegetable broth instead of the stock she mentioned daisylil. you could private message her to be sure though

Why do you cut the pork roast into slices instead of just letting it cook as a roast?
