Justflyingin, would the placement of a border or contrasting binding hinder the readability of the code? Just wondering -- I would like to make a code wallhanging. Just think of the possibilities!

I've been pondering that. I think so. I am going to let this one float in a sea of white--the same white that is in the code itself. Then, if I do add a border, or some other design, it will be a bit away from the code. I would think there needs to be a little buffer zone.

That's why I have not finished it yet completely. I need to finish the front completely and then see how big it is and then make the back a bit larger before I tackle the almost impossible task of quilting it. (I've never done a 2 sided quilt before except a QAYG.)

Let us know how the quilting goes. I am wondering about the color of the quilting thread and the new texture the code will have after quilting as to how they will affect the readability.

This is such a fascinating concept!
