Default I'm in LOVE

With Paper Piecing. Below is my first ever PP block and while its not exactly perfect, I'm happy with it as a first attempt. Hopefully I will get better. One side came out shorter than the others due to a misjudged seam allowance but other than that one little boo boo everything came out pretty close. I'm really not sure why it took so long for me to try it. I also chose one of the most complicated pattern out there for the WOW factor, WOW I really can do this.

That's one on my to do list this year. To start practicing pp, however, I will take it a little less complicated. Looking good though, keep up the good work. Congrads.

Nice block! One word of caution with pp: beware of using "directional" fabrics (stripes, etc.). You have to make sure you place them correctly (which you did!) to make the pattern consistent. (Hope this is clear).

Keep up the great work! Paper piecing is my passion!

This was made totally out of scraps I had laying around. No thought to patterns, directions, or even colors. I really like this method of piecing.

I love what you did with the reds. The stripes look really great. You did good.

Paper piecing was the first ever quilty thing I tried. That's what got me into quilting. I found it very easy to do and I could whip up a block in no time. Now that I have learned to do regular piecing I have not PP in quite some time. Your blocks looks very nice!
