Another for the collection - Foley & Williams

At first glance, this looks a lot like a Eldredge/National machine, and they take the same size needle and shuttle.


The F&W is slightly narrower, about 3/4" so the slide is shorter.

It's also narrower

This is the typical bed shape of the National - notice the raised area (New Home is like this too).

And the F&W - quite different.

And the location of the serial number - under the front slide on National,

And in about the same place as Singer for the F&W

And the best part - it takes a different set of attachments YEA!!!
F&W has ties to Goodrich- and my box of Goodrich A attachments fits the F&W machine.
