Default Valentine quilt for nursing home

The River Valley Stitchers made paper pieced blocks. Anne put it together dealing with all the problems of a group project. And I quilted it. It will hang for February at a local nursing home. We are in the process of making one to hang each month so that the environment can be changed. They have been so well received. I have been actually hanging two a month. I was hanging one and a resident came in and said no, hang it on the other wall where I see it while I am eating. I assured her I had another one for that wall too.

Oh it's so very pretty. I know you all have given so much joy to the residents. You should be proud. The quilting is exquisite!

What greater compliment and expression of appreciation but to be asked to move it so she could see it while eating!

Beautiful and I am so sure they appreciate the beauty of the quilts. So good of you to do this for them.

Wow! The quilt is beautiful and the quilting is stunning! I wouldn't mind looking at that quilt all day! Quilts brighten up any room. What a nice thing to do.
