Default Requesting critique

Hello,

I normally buy quilt kits because the fabric is already decided for me. I lack confidence choosing my own fabric. But there are not any Italian Greyhound themed kits, so I had to come up with my own thing for the quilt I was asked to make.

Please help me. I am happy with the blocks, but I'm not sure if the blocks, black border, and the multi-colored outer border play well together. All is laid out but not sewn together. Now is the time for me to change my mind about the borders.

Thank you in advance for your help. I've only made 4 quilts and your advice to this amature will be greatly appreciated.

Really nice color pallet. There is no one color that jumps out ast you so you did a great job of picking the fabric.

Looks great! The only thing I might do is switch one of the blocks with the very darkest color with another block at the bottom left area. Good job!

I think it looks fantastic and you did a wonderful job with colors. Just perfect the way you have it. I agree with the suggestion of changing the second block down on the RHS and maybe putting it in the bottom corner LHS.

I think it looks wonderful. I also make quilts from kits. I don't have an eye for color at all, so buying kits is so helpful to me. If I ever do it myself, the gal behind the counter picks out all the fabrics and I have a quilt she chose, not me. Maybe someday I will be good enough with color to choose my own.

I love it, but I would cut the sashings in half if it were me. Almost to wide. IMHO
