Default I tried to tone down the yellow...

The yellow in this has bothered me the whole time...can't figure out why, as I do know that yellow is a very wild color...bright, as it were. And I did want a yellow and blue quilt.

But I just put the borders on this, intentionally trying to tone down the yellow. Not sure it really worked, but I do like the results. Maybe it no longer shouts "YELLOW"?

What do you think? Did I tone it down any?? (Yeah, just ignore the quilt inspector there. He has to be in every quilt picture, I guess....) I promise this is my last post complaining about this yellow.

I think it's gorgeous! And yes, the blue seems to have toned down the yellow...as I said, it's beautiful! And so is your inspector!

I think it is just marvelous!! However, I am so sorry it is bugging you--I know it was A LOT of work, and the finished result is bugging you. ;o( But I think it is bright and cheery and a wonderful quilt. If it continues to bug you, why not donate it for a charity auction and then make another one for yourself?? You are a bargello expert now!!!!

I love blue and yellow quilts and yours screams AWESOME! The yellow is not overwhelming and your quilt is well balanced and beautiful.

I think it is beautiful and the blue borders did calm it a little. After you take a short break from it, I bet you love it again. Sometimes I think we just spend too much time with something.

I have followed your saga and I suspect that you will still question the yellow but you shouldn't. It is absolutely beautiful.

In the event that you just can't get used to it, I would be happy to pay shipping so you can send it to me. I would treasure it.
