Default I did it I did it, My first quilt top all done.

This is a Double Hour Glass. Not a normal size it's 42 X 65. I'm not normal either. hehehehehe Some of the squares came out bigger then the rest(must have done those when I was sleeping) any way I just cut all of them down to 5 1/2".
I thought the main part of the quilt was very easy but the border drove me nuts I had 2 ways to go but decided to go with the smaller squares had to many 2 1/2" squares cut out. It was keeping me up at night and every time I rolled over I was thinking of the border and how to do it. Well since there is over 20inches of snow out side today on top of 14 from the last snow storm I thought I would finish it and I did. I did it I did it I did it.

Great quilt! When ever I work with triangles, no matter how I do them my blocks never come out the same size! Your colors are great!

Wow! I am impressed if this is your first quilt top ever. It looks lovely and you did a great job. Please be sure and post another pic when it is all quilted and bound. Good thing for snowstorms...as long as your had power and heat.
